Since this substrate produces a soluble reaction product, it is not recommended for immunoblotting or histochemical applications.Ģ,2′-Azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) has been used as a peroxidase substrate in ELISA experiment. 1% sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) may be used to stop the reaction during end-point assays. The substrate is colorless before reacting with peroxidase and produces a blue-green color reaction product after reacting with it. The product is supplied as a ready-to-use one component substrate for peroxidase consisting 2,2′-azino-bis (3-ethylbenz-thiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) in an acidic buffer. ![]()
